Team Member Spotlight: Jammailla, Growing With Wilkins Refresh Behind the Scenes

At Wilkins Refresh Cleaning Service, success isn't just about delivering great cleanings—it's also about having the right people and systems working behind the scenes to support our clients and our team.

That's why we're excited to introduce one of the newest members of the Wilkins Refresh family, Jammailla, who is joining our team from the Philippines as our Executive Assistant.

While much of Jammailla's work will happen behind the scenes, her role will touch many different parts of the company. From helping with employee records and payroll information to supporting hiring, billing, scheduling, team communication, content, and internal systems, she'll play an important role as Wilkins Refresh continues to grow. Jammailla also brings previous experience in restaurant and hotel work and management, giving her experience working in people-focused environments where communication, organization, and teamwork matter.

A Culture That Felt Different

When asked what drew her to Wilkins Refresh Cleaning Service, Jammailla said it wasn't simply the position itself. It was the culture.

“Honestly, it was the culture that drew me in from the very start. From my conversations with you and Charity, I could immediately feel the warmth, genuine care, and family-like energy the team has—it's really rare to find a company that puts so much heart into how they treat their people.”

She also connected strongly with the company's core values: Have Fun, Help Out, Grow, and Make Money.

“The core values (have fun, help out, grow, and make money) really resonated with me too hehehe, and I knew right away this was somewhere I wanted to grow.”

For Wilkins Refresh, finding someone who connects with our culture is just as important as finding someone who can handle the responsibilities of the position. And that connection was evident during Jammailla's interview process.

Standing Out From the Crowd

Jammailla was interviewed and hired by Charity Adele, Wilkins Refresh's Customer Happiness Manager, who quickly recognized something different in her.

Out of the candidates Charity interviewed, Jammailla stood out head and shoulders above the rest.

What impressed Charity wasn't just Jammailla's ability to handle administrative responsibilities. It was the combination of her communication skills, professionalism, enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and genuine interest in becoming part of the team.

She came across as someone who wasn't simply looking for a job to complete a list of tasks. She was engaged, curious, and eager to understand the company and contribute to its growth.

Her personality also came through naturally during the interview. She communicated well, showed genuine excitement about the opportunity, and demonstrated the kind of people skills that are difficult to teach. By the end of the process, Jammailla had clearly separated herself from the other candidates.

Making an Impact Behind the Scenes

Jammailla will be working primarily behind the scenes, helping with many of the administrative pieces that keep Wilkins Refresh moving as we grow.

Her responsibilities will include maintaining records and digital files, supporting payroll and employee administration, coordinating interviews and hiring communications, company announcements, assisting with scheduling and attendance, and helping keep our internal systems and processes organized.

It's a role that gives Jammailla the opportunity to learn different sides of the business, contribute to a growing company, and make her own mark on the Wilkins Refresh team.

The Person Behind the Role

Of course, there's much more to Jammailla than administrative work.

She's a huge BTS fan and has been an ARMY since 2017. And if you ask her to pick a favorite member, don't expect an answer.

“Honestly, all seven members are my bias; I genuinely can't pick just one 😄”

She's proudly OT7, and BTS has been a big part of her life for nearly a decade—including throughout the group's hiatus era.

Jammailla is also a big fan of cooking and loves trying new recipes, especially pasta recipes she discovers on TikTok. There's something especially satisfying about following a recipe video and actually nailing the dish, so she's always looking for the next recipe to try.

She's also a big Marvel and Fast & Furious fan and enjoys binge-watching both franchises from beginning to end. She recently rewatched Avengers: Endgame simply for the nostalgia and says she continues to find something new to appreciate each time.

She's also recently gotten back into reading EPUB books. One of her current reads is Signs: The Secret Language of the Universe by Laura Lynne Jackson, which she enjoys for its themes surrounding communication, self-growth, and how people connect with the world around them.

Looking Forward to Growing Together

One of the things Jammailla is most excited about is being part of a growing team and making an impact—even when that impact may happen behind the scenes.

“I'm most excited about being part of a growing team and having the chance to make a real, behind-the-scenes impact—even in ways clients and cleaners might never see, but that keeps everything running smoothly.”

For Jammailla, joining Wilkins Refresh is about more than simply taking on a new position. She's looking forward to becoming part of the team, learning new things, and building relationships along the way.

“I also can't wait to build genuine relationships with the whole team, keep learning new things, and grow both as a professional and as a person alongside everyone here!!!”

That desire to grow alongside the company is something we're excited about as well.
