That’s why we’re excited to introduce one of our newest team members, Gena Garcia, who is stepping into the role of Customer Happiness Manager with energy, heart, and a natural gift for connecting with people.

As the face of Wilkins Refresh, Gena will play a key role in building relationships, supporting our cleaners, and ensuring every client interaction reflects the positive, professional, and people-first culture we’re proud of. Her warmth, enthusiasm, and genuine care for others make her a perfect fit for a role centered around connection and experience.

A Natural Fit for Wilkins Refresh

When asked what drew her to Wilkins Refresh Cleaning Service, Gena shared:

“I was looking for something different, a different environment and looking for different experiences. Somewhere where I could grow and benefit from, but also give back to. I believe that led me to Wilkins Refresh Cleaning Service.”

Her early experience with the team quickly confirmed she was in the right place:

“The way everyone here has treated me, I can see that this is a place where I want to be and stay at, and help make a positive impact in.”

A People-First Leader with a Creative Spirit

Gena is currently studying at Mississippi State University, where she is pursuing a double major in Business Finance and Asian Studies (Chinese). With a strong academic foundation and a passion for growth, she brings both intelligence and curiosity into everything she does.

Outside of work and school, Gena’s personality truly shines. She has a deep love for creativity and the arts, with experience in band, theatre, and choir. She plays multiple instruments, including the clarinet, tenor sax, guitar, and ukulele, and even served as drum major during her senior year of high school. Whether she’s painting, playing tennis, baking, or spending time with friends and family, Gena brings a sense of joy and balance to her life.

She also has a fun and unique appreciation for the little things—like capturing photos of animals on campus, especially squirrels—which reflects her observant and lighthearted nature.


Stepping Into the Role of Customer Happiness Manager

As she prepares to begin her role, Gena is especially excited about the opportunity to connect with others and make a difference in people’s day-to-day experiences:

“The community, the team and the clients, are what makes this place and this role so special, and what will be my favorite part of the job is being able to connect with all kinds of people, get to know them, and to, hopefully, make their day even just a little bit brighter.”

In this position, Gena will serve as a central connection point between clients and the team—building relationships, ensuring satisfaction, supporting cleaners, and helping create a culture where everyone feels valued. From organizing events to celebrating wins and turning challenges into positive experiences, she will play a key role in shaping the overall Wilkins Refresh experience.
